Azu'Rivage campsite's direct access to Soustons Lake will please all our clients. This vast body of water is a unique natural setting providing all the calm, tranquility and serenity you could wish for on holiday in Landes. It is the ideal place for those wanting to walk along the banks, fish or even exert themselves by canoeing, windsurfing or standup paddleboarding.
Vergnes Point, located at the heart of Soustons, is at the centre of activity on the lake. It can be reached by the cycle path and, being only 4 km from Azu’Rivage campsite, this wooded park is an idylic location for a family picnic, to enjoy the view over Soustons Lake and to admire the natural calm of this place that squirrels have made into their playground.
Azur Pontoon: You can get here by bike. On the northern bank of Soustons Lake, in the district of Azur, this floating pontoon is only 1 km from Azu’Rivage campsite. It is one of several noteworthy sites of the southern Landes coast. It gives you a unique view of the lake, perfect to get away for a moment and take a picture to remember it by
Nautical Activities on the Lake
Azur Nautique Sailing (July-August)
An introduction to sailing just 50 m from the campsite, on the pontoon. Individual lessons by appointment with an instructor holding the French national certificate. Pedalo, sailing boat and windsurf board hire.

Fishing
This year you’re going to fish while you’re on holiday!
Azur/Soustons Lake covers 380 Ha and you’ll be able to fish and bring back a lot of perch, tench, pike, black bass and pike-perch.
A Carte de Peche fishing permit is required. If you do not have one, you can buy a weekly permit (valid for 7 consecutive days, sold year-round. Available at Bricorama in Soustons)
Mooring Boats
There are no regulations in force relating to mooring boats. You remain fully liable if you do this. You can however arrive on your boat and moor it within Azu’Rivage Campsite, on the island.
